Each master at home or in the workshop has a large number of tools. When it is necessary to do repair work at a distance, the question arises, how to carry the necessary tools? In our article we will tell you how to make a tool box with your own hands. And although it is made only from the remnants of PVC pipes, in appearance it does not differ from branded factory tool cases. Just follow the instructions.

Materials for manufacturing
To make a toolbox, you will need:
- remnants of PVC pipes ø150, 100 and 25 mm;
- manual drill with a cutting disc or saw for metal;
- marker;
- bolts, nuts, washers, rivets;
- rivet gun;
- two small loops;
- gas stove with oven;
- drill;
- latch for cases;
- paint can;
- metal scissors;
- sandpaper;
- Super glue.
Step 1. Making the body parts
On a pipe ø150 mm we mark 4 rings 1 cm thick and cut them off. These will be the sides of the box.

From the same pipe we cut a piece to the required length for the box body.
We will make the main part of the sidewalls from a pipe ø100 mm. To do this, cut off a piece of pipe of the desired length, cut it lengthwise and place it in an oven heated to 200 degrees Celsius.
After the pipe is completely softened, we take it out and place it until it cools completely between two planes.

From the resulting even piece of PVC with scissors, we cut out two sidewalls for the box. Their diameter should correspond to the inner diameter of the box body.

We will make the legs of the box from four bolts with nuts. To do this, mark the places of future legs with a marker, drill holes and insert the bolts into place.

Stepping back a little from the center of the case, mark the cover and holes for the hinges.

Cut out the lid according to the marked markup. We drill holes for the hinges and make the recesses necessary for their normal operation in the case.

Step 2. Assemble the box
We cut the rings for the sidewalls of the box, try them on for the inner diameter of the case and cut off the excess.
We glue the ring, the sidewall and again the ring to the body sequentially on each side.

We cut a piece 25 cm long from a pipe ø25 mm, heating it over a gas stove, and shaping it into a convenient handle.

We drill holes in the handle and cover for fastening.
We paint all the details with spray paint.
We fasten the hinges and the handle to the body with rivets using a rivet gun.

We mark and install the latch in place. The toolbox is ready.
