And of course, when a key is urgently needed, it is not at hand. Of course, “there are adjustable and universal pipe wrenches,” you say. But their capabilities are also limited, and when working with PVC pipes, they leave deep marks. In our article, we will tell you how to make a universal key with your own hands, which will carefully unscrew almost any threaded connection.

Materials for manufacturing
In order to make a universal key, you will need:
- profile pipe 25x25 mm in size;
- chain for a motorcycle 50 cm long;
- welding machine;
- Bulgarian;
- various types of threaded connections for testing.
Step 1. We make a universal key
We cut a piece 30 cm long from the profile pipe.
We apply 4 chain links to one of the edges of the cut pipe.
We weld the chain securely on both sides.
We pass the second end of the chain through the profile pipe.
Step 2. Testing
We dress a lasso from a chain on a round pipe. Due to its shape, the chain securely wraps around the pipe over the entire surface, firmly clamping it.
Let's test the pressure of the key on the surface to be treated on a wooden branch. Such a deep dent leaves a regular pipe wrench.
Our universal wrench treats the unscrewed surface more carefully.
The wrench also wraps around a regular hex nut perfectly over the entire surface and does not scroll.
