Materials for work
In order to remove dents, you will need:
- several plastic bottles with caps;
- sandpaper;
- degreaser;
- glue gun.
Step 1. Glue the bottles to the dent
Degrease the surface of the dent. If further painting is planned, we pre-sand the alignment area.
We sand bottle caps with coarse sandpaper and also degrease.
We apply glue to the top of the bottle and glue it to the dent.
We screw the bottle into the cork.
Repeating steps 3 and 4, glue plastic bottles along the entire length of the dent.
Step 2: Smooth out the dent
Holding the bottle with our hands, we pull it towards us, applying force in small jerks.
There was practically no trace of the dent.
