If you can purchase pallets (pallets) or they are already in stock, then in a disassembled state they can serve as a good material for the future table. The main condition is that the boards must be well dried. To do this, the wood is stacked in a well-ventilated place and kept for 4 to 6 months.
Initially, the most suitable for the countertop are selected from the disassembled boards. The side parts of the pallets will be used in the frame. All boards must be well sanded to the desired smoothness.
The remaining unused planks are used to fasten the countertop. They are located at the joints of the boards and are fixed with self-tapping screws. The finished tabletop is well polished.
