A lot of articles have been written about connecting pipes. Of course, the most reliable method is welding, but it requires the mandatory presence of a welding machine. And if we are talking about aluminum or copper tubes, then you can’t do without an experienced welder and special welding machines, for example, argon ones. In our article we will tell you how to connect pipes without welding. This method allows you to connect tubes of the same thickness at different angles.

Materials for work
In order to connect the pipes, you will need:
- two pipes of the same diameter;
- thick metal plates;
- nut, bolt, washer;
- drill;
- Bulgarian;
- two metal pins;
- wrenches, hammer;
- calipers.
Step 1. Cut out the pipes
From the metal pipe we cut off two pieces that need to be connected.
We cut the required connection angle and grind the cutting points. The pipes must fit snugly together.

Step 2. We make metal plates
We cut out two metal plates of such a thickness that they fit tightly inside the pipe. Choose the length of the plate according to the required strength of the connection.
From one edge we grind the plate to half and drill a mounting hole.

We connect the plates to each other at the required angle and tighten with a bolt, washer and nut.

From the outer sides of the corner in the uncut part of the plates, we drill holes for the pins.

Step 3. Connecting the pipes
We fully insert the connecting structure into the pipes.
Trying not to move the corner from its place, we remove one pipe and measure the distance from the junction to the hole for the pin.

We transfer the measurement to the pipe. We do the same with the other pipe.
We drill the marked holes.

We put the pipes on the corner, combine the holes and hammer the pins.

Cut or break pins. Our connection is ready. It turned out to be durable and holds the corner well.
