The biquadrat or Kharchenko antenna has proven itself in the search for and stable reception of radio waves of various frequencies - you just need to choose the right dimensions for the sides of the square for a particular task. Is it possible to make a receiving device for digital television?
The topic of our article is a very simple homemade DVB-T2 antenna with an amplifier.

Making an antenna Kharchenko for digital TV
To make this device is not difficult. This task does not require special knowledge and skills. And you don't need a lot of materials.
A piece of wire about 120 cm long, 3 mm in diameter or more.
You will also need an amplifier for analog antennas. Can be used
or its equivalent. The cost of such a microcircuit on radio markets does not exceed 70 rubles.Fasteners are required to connect the amplifier to the antenna
And of course, you will need a coaxial cable of the required length. You can use any resistance: 50 or 75 ohms.
Step number 1 - making a square
To do this, you will need to form a “figure eight” from copper wire with a square side of 14 cm. The junction of the beginning and end of the wire must be soldered. The place of soldering does not matter, usually it is formed in the center of the figure eight.
Step # 2 - connecting the antenna cable to the amplifier
Everything is simple here - the main core of the cable is stripped by 1 cm. Connect as shown in Fig.6.
Step #3 - Mounting the Amplifier on a Bi-Square
Using the prepared fasteners in the center of the antenna, an amplifier chip is connected.

Signal Check
We connect the manufactured antenna to the console. If the latter is not used because the TV supports DVD-T2, an additional power supply may be required. The amplifier supports this function via a special separation plug.
If the TV broadcaster is nearby, then you should try to catch the signal by installing an antenna in the room.
Many TVs are equipped with a built-in signal power function. We find and turn on the power of the antenna.
After connecting the power, you can find how the signal from the zero result has increased significantly. In our case, from ) to 65%. The signal is stable and the quality of the picture and sound is excellent.

Conclusion
In this way, it is possible for very modest money to assemble an antenna quite suitable for permanent use.
If the signal strength is weak, then the antenna should be placed outdoors.
