Since this product will be in contact with wet mortar, if it is made of wood, it may absorb moisture and swell. This will change its geometry.To avoid this, it is recommended to cover the device with varnish.
It is better to use glued laminated timber, since it is difficult to find a regular wooden beam that is perfectly straight. In addition, the assembly of the product is carried out not on self-tapping screws, but on finishing nails 40 mm long. This will avoid cracking the structure during assembly.
