The main selection criteria are:
- type of instalation. There are built-in (partially or completely) and freestanding dishwashers. In the first case, the appliances will be built into the kitchen furniture, in the second, they will be installed separately.
- The size. They produce compact, narrow and full-size machines. Compact ones are small in height and up to 55 cm wide. Narrow dishwashers usually have a width of up to 45 cm, and the width of standard full-size appliances is 60 cm.
- Capacity. It is directly related to the dimensions of the machine. Compact units can accommodate from 2 to 6-8 sets of dishes. Narrow dishwashers are designed for 9-11, and full-size - for 12-17 sets of dishes.
- Appearance. When buying a free-standing PMM, pay attention to its design and color of the coating.
- Resource consumption. Depending on the level of resource saving, dishwashers are divided into several classes, which are designated by letters from A to G. The most economical units belong to class A. Among modern energy-efficient PMMs, there are more and more models of class A +, A ++ and A +++.
- Number of washing modes. Most models include standard, economy, intensive and quick wash. There are machines with a delicate wash, half load mode, pre-rinse, soak heavily soiled dishes and other modes.
- Wash quality. This criterion is denoted by the letters A, B and C, where A is a perfectly clean sink, and B and C allow minor contamination.
