Summer is the time for mass outdoor recreation. These are picnics with the whole family on their favorite lawn by the pond, and funny songs with comrades by the fire, and quiet hunting for mushrooms. On such trips, there is often a need to boil water, heat canned food or fry scrambled eggs. Carrying bulky camping stoves with a balloon is not always handy. In our article we will tell you how to make a camping stove with your own hands from an ordinary tin can. Such a stove will always have a place in your backpack. And it can work both on wood and on solid alcohol fuel.

Materials for manufacturing
In order to make a stove, you will need:
- high tin can;
- metal scissors;
- pliers;
- can-opener;
- cooking utensils and fuel for testing.
Step 1. Cut out the camping plate
We have manufactured and tested 6 types of slabs from cans. All of them turned out to be more or less efficient.

The best qualities, such as even fire over the entire surface, uniformity of fuel combustion, and others, were established for the third option, so we will dwell on its manufacture in more detail.

We remove the label and glue residue from the can.
Using scissors for metal, we make 8 cuts in the upper part of the can. The incisions should be made at regular intervals to a depth of ≈2 cm.

Using pliers or hands, bend the cut parts through one at an angle of 90 degrees. We got holes to create thrust when burning fuel.

At the bottom of the jar we form a blower by cutting triangular holes along the entire circumference with a can opener.

Our stove is ready, it remains to cook something tasty.
Step 2. Testing
As fuel for such a camping stove, you can use tree bark, small and medium-sized branches, as well as alcohol-based solid fuel.
We put the fuel on the stove and make a fire.

We put some kitchen utensils on the stove (pot, pan or kettle).

The fire evenly heats the bottom, which means that there will be no particular hassle with cooking. You just need to add fuel as it burns out.
