Structures from profile pipes can be found in almost every summer cottage or personal plot. These are, first of all, greenhouse complexes, as well as various fences, elements of flower beds and alpine slides. The process of assembling frame structures involves their welding. But if there is no welding, and the structure is small, you can assemble it using wooden inserts. In the article we will tell you how to make a frame from a profile pipe for a gate without welding.

Materials for manufacturing
To make profile pipe frame, you will need:
- profile pipe;
- wooden bars, slightly thicker than the internal section of the profile pipe;
- metal corners (preferably with a stiffener);
- self-tapping screws for wood and metal;
- hacksaw or grinder;
- screwdriver or screwdriver;
- hacksaw;
- plane;
- hammer;
- drill;
- square.
Step 1. We prepare the components for the frame
We cut off five blanks from the metal profile: two along the height of the gate and three along its width.
We adjust the size of the wooden bars to the internal size of the pipe, remove the corners a little with a planer and hammer them into the end of each pipe. Cut off the protruding part.
In long blanks, we drill three holes for self-tapping screws: two at the edges, one at the place where the additional crossbar is attached. We make sweat under the caps of self-tapping screws.
Step 2. Assembling the gate frame
We assemble the structure, tightening it with self-tapping screws.
Since fastening with self-tapping screws does not prevent the cross bars from rotational movement, we strengthen the corners with metal corners.
The frame for the gate is ready, it remains to attach the gate leaf to it. This can be a picket fence, a chain-link mesh or, as in the example, a welding mesh. It is attached to the profile pipe with metal screws. Loops are also attached.
