Materials for manufacturing
In order to make a medical mask, you will need:
- any cotton fabric;
- roulette;
- ruler;
- pencil or pen;
- scissors;
- a paper clip from the packaging of bread;
- lace or elastic band at least 80 cm long;
- iron.
Step 1. Making a blank
Smooth out the cotton fabric.
We measure and draw on the fabric a rectangle 36 cm wide and 18 cm high.
Cut out with scissors.

Step 2. Making a mount with a latch
We take a paper clip, with which bags of bread and a loaf are pulled together, straighten it, and with the help of the tips of scissors or an awl, we make two holes on it along the edges.
We take a cord 80 cm long and thread it first into one, and then into the second hole of the paperclip.
Measuring with a ruler, place the paper clip at a distance of 25 cm from the end of the lace.
Tie the tails of the lace into a knot.

Step 3. Making the protective part
Using a ruler, divide the rectangle along the long side into three equal parts.
Fold the left side of the workpiece over the central one at the marked places of the bends.
Iron well.
Then, in the same way, fold to the center and iron the right side of the workpiece.
Step 4. Assemble the mask
Expanding the smoothed rectangles.
Where the upper part of the mask will be, we insert a lace with a paper clip inserted so that the paper clip is in the middle of the bend line.
We wrap the left side of the fabric rectangle first, and then the right.
