Especially often, non-professionals use welding when creating structures on personal plots: arches for flowers, hedges, props for grapes and other agricultural crops. Life hack number 1. Connection at an angle of 90 degrees of pipes of different diameters
In order to weld pipes at an angle of 90 degrees, you will need:
- 2 pipes of different diameters;
- marker;
- Bulgarian;
- hammer;
- welding machine.
Draw a seam with a marker.
We cut out the intended semicircle with a grinder.
Clean up the rest with pliers.
We make longitudinal cuts on the pipe.
We insert the smaller pipe into the larger one. Using a hammer, we bend all the cuts made earlier.
We weld pipe joints.
Life hack number 2. We bend the corner from the channel
To turn the corner out channel, you will need:
- channel or profile;
- pliers;
- wire cutters;
- marker;
- Bulgarian.
On the side of the channel, we mark the fold line with a marker and make an incision with wire cutters.
Stepping back a few centimeters, we make two more cuts at the same distance to make two squares.
We turn the channel to the other side, outline a rectangle and make a diagonal cut.
By connecting the desired sides, we get the corner from the channel.
Life hack number 3. Rivets with Welding Machine
In order to make rivets, you will need:
- metal pipe;
- dense sheet of metal;
- marker;
- drill;
- welding machine.
On a dense sheet of metal with a marker, we assign points for future holes.
Drill two holes with a drill.
We weld two parts with an electrode through the holes, making rivets.
The result is a simple but strong connection.
Life hack 4. Do-it-yourself malka
In order to make a malka with your own hands, you will need:
- steel strip;
- pencil;
- vise;
- bolt with nut;
- drill;
- Bulgarian;
- welding machine.
On the steel strip we mark two identical parts of 16 cm each.
With the help of a grinder, we cut out these details.
From the remnants of the steel strip, cut out a rectangular trapezoid.
Place the trapezoid between two rectangles. Clamping with a vise, we weld all the details.
On the other hand, where there is a void between the rectangles, we outline and drill a through hole.
We connect the welded part with a metal strip with a longitudinal cut, fastening them with a bolt and nut.
To use a hand-made bevel, loosen the nut, position the parts at the desired angle and tighten the nut back.
Life hack number 5. We connect a metal plate and a pipe
In order to connect a metal plate and a pipe, you will need:
- pipe;
- metal plate;
- Bulgarian;
- welding machine.
In the pipe we make a longitudinal hole with a grinder, according to the size of the smaller side of the metal plate.
We insert the plate into the pipe so that it rests against the opposite side of the pipe.
The joint is welded from above and below.
